Welcome Home.

Hi guys.  Welcome!!!  So, I created this blog with the intent of putting all our home before and after pictures, home videos, DIY home and craft projects in one place and so that I can keep our family blog separate from all the home mumbo jumbo, because not everyone is interested in both home and family.  And if you are, well then, you can just subscribe to and read both blogs. Anyway, I am inspired a ton by DIY and design blogs online, and I am married to my lovely Sir Handy Man, so I thought it would be pretty cool if I could share some of the things we're doing in our new home to chronicle how we will put our personal stamp on it.  Here is our new home which pretty much started out as a blank slate

The garage-side view of our house.  That long thing in the back of the house?  That's an addition of an in-law suite for my parents.

 

 

Disclaimer: I'm not a designer, a construction person, or a crafter (neither is Sir Handy Man).  But I will pretend to be all three, sometimes, all at once.  Sir Handy Man and I did a lot of DIY remodeling in our old home, and I wished I had sought inspiration and advice from the online design world back then.  So, this time around in our new house, I'm gonna share the ups and downs, the pretty and the ugly, the successes and the snafus of designing, decorating, and DIYing as a family.  Let's go!
